  • India stands at the 97th position out of 118 countries when it comes to the Hunger Index.
  • Around 180 million of the Indian population, especially children, suffer from undernourishment.
  • About 48% of children in the country who are younger than 5-years of age are stunted.
  • Nearly 60% have anaemia, and 70% do not eat even half of the daily recommended micronutrients.

The deficiency of micronutrients is also termed as hidden hunger. It means - the intake of vital minerals and vitamins, including Vitamin A, Zinc, and folate, that help in the physical and mental development of children is inadequate. The effects of micronutrients deficiency are long-term and include the following

  • Weak immune system
  • Low energy
  • Impaired cognitive abilities

Nutrition For Kids Who Live in Orphanage

At Ambrain capital, we understand what a nutritional gap could feel like. We understand the real struggle. Therefore, we try to bridge this gap as much as possible from our end. As of now, we provide nutritious fruit juices to 100 kids of an East Bengaluru bases orphanage every day as an anonymous sponsor.

Making Groceries Available to the Needy During COVID 19

During the lockdown phase, owing to the coronavirus pandemic, our employees have personally shared around 150 grocery kits with the people in need in Mysore and the areas surrounding it. The kits included all the basic ingredients, such as vegetables, spices, cereals, using which a family of four can eat a wholesome meal for a week.
